     The Javan rhinoceros is one of the most endangered animals in the world, and it can only be found in Indonesia. This incredible species once roamed across Southeast Asia, but today, the Javan rhino is restricted to just one small area: Ujung Kulon National Park on the western tip of Java. There are fewer than 75 individuals left in the wild , making it critically endangered.      Javan rhinos are large, herbivorous mammals with thick, gray skin and a single horn on their snout. They are solitary creatures, usually found in dense forests and grasslands near rivers. These rhinos primarily feed on grass, leaves, and fruits, and they are known to spend much of their time wallowing in mud to protect themselves from the heat and insects. The story of the Javan rhino serves as a stark reminder of how fragile wildlife populations can be.
